DAY 1 - SESSION 1: I struggled with the new timing tree since it was updated this year. I also bogged every launch in session 1. I just wasn’t expecting that much grip on asphalt.

DAY 1 - SESSION 2: I put in two good runs on the left side (fastest in class), but was about .3 off pace on the right. I was focusing too hard on the lights, which took focus away from the driving. Overnight, upon comparing data and video, I realized I was going easy in the right side slalom, like it was a different driver.

DAY 2 - SESSION 3: Launch grip was lower, but the track seemed faster across the board for everyone by about a 1/2 second. Nearly everyone got their fastest runs on day 2. I stepped up the aggression in the slalom, didn’t RL, and put in smooth runs to take the WIN ahead of the two reigning AS National Champions and several other known top competitors. Additionally, I was holding TOP PAX all day, until final heat when S1 drove and Randall, TOMO, and Glagola jumped ahead. Not a bad event! Great fun and competition keeping the pressure on.
